"I absolutely love your website.. Great colors & theme. Did you build this site yourself? Please reply back as I'm planning to create my own personal website and would like to know where you got this from or what the theme is called. Thanks!"

Thinking outside of the Flash Embed: An Introduction to Javascript for Designers

It's a no brainer. To become a better web designer you must understand your medium and the tools people use to create content for it. Unfortunately in today's post-Flash web those tools are becoming increasingly more difficult for designers to embrace. No longer can designers fall back on Flash's pretty GUI to fly objects around the screen and create awesome two minute site intros. If you want to be today's next gen designer then you will need to learn to program with Javascript. There's…

Hawaii's Leaders of Tomorrow in March 2010 Edition of Hawaii Business

This month's Hawaii Business magazine highlights "Hawaii's Leaders of Tomorrow" and includes an article with Dan Leuck of Ikayzo. Look closely and you can see me and my co-workers trying to look busy in the picture behind Dan. My apologies for the crappy photos, they were taken with my Iphone…

Right on. We're playing at Dave and Buster's on July 10th -- probably around 8pm. Let me know if you're coming and I'll put you on the guest list.

Thanks Gus! Glad you like my band's music. Music always offers a nice break from coding -- a chance to flex completely different brain cells :) You can listen to all the tracks on the newest album on my band's website: www.linustheband.com.

So far I've ready 100%, Batman Year 100, and Pulp Hope -- his autobiography. Pulp Hope contains tons of his insights on being a visual artist. I think you'd get a lot out of it.

Unfortunately, I abandoned "Snow Crash" 2 chapters in. I just couldn't get into it. I'm obsessed with Paul Pope's artwork these days. Leaving for Akibahara in less than a week. So excited.
