Born and raised in Guam of Chamorro/Japanese parents and one of nine children. Moved to Hawai'i in the 1980s and have been here ever since. Graduated with an M.Ed. in Educational Technology from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.

Interests: UMPCs, SecondLife (MaryTherese Rang), social bookmarking, blogging, and online teaching pedagogy, reading general fiction, horror and sci-fi, and playing classical guitar.

Did you know Sam Joseph and the LILT group at UH are also doing work with SL? They purchased an island.

My department will be hosting a few SL demos at Kapi'olani Community College in the fall semester.

I see you are from Guam. I also grew up in Guam. Went to Tamuning Elementary, Dededo Jr. High, and graduated at John F. Kennedy High in 1976. Moved to Hawaii in 1977 and been here ever since. I haven't been back in Guam since 1977. Must be a lot of changes. Let's be friends.
