About Me:
Had the privilege to work on two interesting films within the last several months. Just finished working on "White House Down" for director Roland Emmerich's in-house team and prior to that I got to work on "Iron Man 3" which is one of my favorite superheroes.

Before that I worked on "Prometheus" and "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters".

Born in the 808 but now living in L.A. doing what I love; working in visual effects. Always trying to keep up with the latest digital trends but as always, like Flynn says, "I'm just a user"...

Started in architecture in Hawaii but I always loved movies. Thinking I could meld the two I thought about becoming a production designer until I discovered 3D programs in the mid-90's.

I love working on projects with other artists and digital types. Can't help but learn new things and know about other perspectives than your own.

Tech Hui looks like a great organization and I would like to make contacts back home...never know where things may lead.

A Visit to the Computer History Museum

Entrance to The Computer History Museum Mountain View, CA Nestled between the Google campus, LinkedIn and downtown Mountain View, is the Computer History Museum. Housed in the original headquarters of Silicon Graphics, the museum is the largest repository of computer equipment artifacts in the world. I never knew of its existence until I stumbled upon it a year ago while visiting a cousin in Mountain View. We use computers everyday yet we often take… Continue

Making Changes

It is too often in our lives that when we make up our minds to do something out of the ordinary, beyond the boundaries of our comfort zone, it leads to even greater things beyond our boldest visions when we made that original decision.

When weighing the different options that come with the territory we give up something in our lives to pursue what we love the most to do. A price is indeed paid whether large or small but a price is exacted from us somehow; leaving one’s immediate… Continue

Excellent Francis..thanks for the message. I've not done the 3D thing, so you know much much more about it than I. perhaps we could meet for coffee one of these days.

Cheers,

Moriba
