I totally agree with you Daniel. I went to see it in Imax 3D expecting to be less than enthralled after all the hype but was blown away after I saw it. I was amazed on so many different levels by its entertainment factor, its technical achievements,…

Katharine- I believe your comments are quite valid. The initial spark you wrote about as a means to propel one's imagination to explore the world around them is a powerful thing. And from there they will be able to discern which avenue to take to re…

About Me:
Presently working at Digital Domain on "Tron Legacy"

Born in the 808 but now living in L.A. doing what I love; working in visual effects. Always trying to keep up with the latest digital trends but as always, like Flynn says, "I'm just a user"...

Started in architecture in Hawaii but I always loved movies. Thinking I could meld the two I thought about becoming a production designer until I discovered 3D programs in the mid-90's.

I love working on projects with other artists and digital types. Can't help but learn new things and know about other perspectives than your own.

Tech Hui looks like a great organization and I would like to make contacts back home...never know where things may lead.

Making Changes

It is too often in our lives that when we make up our minds to do something out of the ordinary, beyond the boundaries of our comfort zone, it leads to even greater things beyond our boldest visions when we made that original decision.

When weighing the different options that come with the territory we give up something in our lives to pursue what we love the most to do. A price is indeed paid whether large or small but a price is exacted from us somehow; leaving one’s immediate family, foregoi… Continue

Excellent Francis..thanks for the message. I've not done the 3D thing, so you know much much more about it than I. perhaps we could meet for coffee one of these days.

Cheers,

Moriba
