re: Comments we've received about Ben's post. Normally we require job postings to be in the jobs forum, but we've decided to make an exception for neighbor island groups because, as Ben points out, the communities are relatively small.

I'm back home this next week for a couple days. Would folks like to meet up this friday/saturday or next week wed/thurs evening? Reichart said he had some better places to eat drink and be merry.

Hi Guys - TechHui is a premium Ning network. It will be unaffected by this move.

Well we are techies, and web hosting services run fairly cheap... Roll our own on top of some CMS/blog/forum software?

Any idea where we go if TechHui goes away now that Ning will be charging for it's services? http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20100415/tc_afp/usitcompanyinternetning...

Reichart, haven't seen a HikeTheGeek announcement in quite a while, have there been any?
Comment by Jerry Isdale on April 14, 2010 at 8:31pm
Hike The Geek sounds like fun - toss in a bit of Geocaching for extra points. (Maui needs more caches!) Alas I wont be around for any sundays for a while. Sat 24 april is possible though.
