yeah. i guess non-profits don't really fit there. i had a couple of reasons why i asked that question.

let me just explain one of the reasons behind the question. i've been very casually thinking of starting a software development non-profit that helps other non-profits. i like the idea of "software volunteers helping good causes". but, i'm really not sure how to start. i guess i haven't put much thought into it; i do have a day job. :) anyway... here is an example of what i mean; http://kagawaa.blogspot.com/2008/11/pro-bono-publico.html

hi sandi, welcome to the group.

here's a question. what if the startup idea is a non-profit open source system?

Welcome Sandi! We are very happy to see our friends from HTDC joining TechHui.

The FAQ is a good place to learn about the site. You may want to join some of the interest groups.

We hope you find TechHui useful and invite others. See you around MIC.
