The company I used to work for, Blue Lava Technologies, released a couple different python projects, kindfish.com and ilovephotos.com. Both of these made use of Django, Python, and Amazon Web Services. iLovePhotos also used python swig bindings to OpenCV for facial detection on the website. I run my own consulting company here, devskunk.com, and we are predominantly a python and objective-C house.
I'm definitely looking for other python developers in Hawaii. Its getting fairly scarce here sadly.

Hi Brian,
I know PeerNews was looking for Python developers at one point, and a friend of mine tells me there's one animation shop using it, although I don't know what for.

Sam, who are the couple you know of? (If you can tell us.)
Profitability of Hawaii uses it for some of our build and install scripts, but not for any of the products.

Hi All,
I was wondering if people had a sense of how much Python was being used for development by companies in Hawaii. I know of a couple. Can anyone provide any concrete examples?
