Did you go for the lifetime membership?

How much is lifetime membership? Wondering....how well will it run in bootcamp? I have the first gen intel macbook pro. How much HD space does the install take? I only have 5 gigs on my wee bit HD for vista.

I did get the lifetime sub for $200. I was in the beta and really enjoyed the early game; space combat is spot-on and surface adventures are entertaining if not groundbreaking. BUT, the mid-game is not so much at present. It is easy to stumble into missions that are way over your head or are trivially easy.

Hi Gus, I think it might be tough to play STO on your laptop due to the HD space. Here are the system requirements:

OS: Windows XP SP2 / Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32 or 64-bit)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 Ghz or AMD Athlon X2 3800+
Memory: 1GB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7950 / ATI Radeon X1800 / Intel HD Graphics

DirectX: Version 9.0c or Higher
HDD: 10GB Free Disk Space
Network: Internet Broadband Connection Required
Disc: 6X DVD-ROM
