A team that includes three co-founders from Bump Networks on Maui is about to launch FlikDate, a nifty looking mobile video dating app. They got covered in TechCrunch three weeks ago!
It's kinda like ChatRoulette but uses FBConnect for signups, so people are less likely to act badly (and they can be easily tracked and bounced). The monetization scheme is neat (but fairly standard) - you have to pay to use the app past a certain number of "fliks". Notably, it's an all female launch team, which is great to see in the male-dominated world of tech. I don't think the app is yet live in the Apple AppStore but look for it soon. This is the first Hawaii startup to get coverage in TC that I have seen yet. They have some pretty stellar advisors - Ryan Holmes of HootSuite, most notably. Stay tuned!

Excellent job and congrats to the team!
Looks cool, although I wish there was an Android version.
Congrats to the Bump team on a successful launch. Go Maui techies!
