Brief thoughts on Google Buzz
I was excited to hear about Buzz. I don't like having lots of sites to check. That's a big part of why I'm not active on Twitter and Facebook.
But in the few hours since it's been active, I've gotten really sick of the bolded "Buzz (10)" notification in my email client. It's a constant distraction, which is really irritating, because Gmail is the center of my workflow.
I've come to the conclusion that I dislike it. What do you think?

Konstantin: thanks! I just hid it. That solves my immediate problem, but I doubt I'll click through to see new buzz items often. I guess this just isn't something I want very much, but I'm glad it's there.

Well, for one thing, it is possible to hide 'Buzz' label by going into Settings->Labels->Buzz->hide
Otherwise, I like increased availability of communication/information, without having to dig through 3rd party interfaces. I am yet to experiment with functionality.. but it's likely going to follow Google style - simple & to the point.
