Small world on Dead ... Sorry to hear about your illness. Give me a shout when ready. I will look over your indie effort link. Looking forward to talking with you. You can get a little more info about me at http://microflow.com/portfolio I am currently looking at importing existing OBJ equity (or recreating it) into 3D worlds and working with the physics (gravity), partical, real-time interactive features to put together interactive 3D educational machinima productions interleaving Real Life RL and Virtual Life VL interaction (greenscreen keying). I am finding most existing 3D worlds mathematically "Flat" for modeling sustainable energy events, but combined with Google Earth and web links, there may be an opportunity for real-time educational collaboration. My Day job is putting together a federated query search network linking the clinical and research resources of Stanford, Harvard, Pen, and Wisconsin Universities.

I'd love to chat when I get my head above water (just getting back in the groove after a 6 month illness). Ivan's sister? Donna Thatcher! Wow! My creative partner (Shelley Doty) in our current movie was in a band that Ken Kesey thought would replace the Dead. Shelley's band toured with Kesey and provided the music for his wacky take on the Wizard of Oz called "Twister".

The folks at Skywalker are really supportive of our indie film. They are helping us with sound effects and doing the final mix. You can join us and keep trakc what we're up to here:

I haven't used PREVIZ. I've played with Toon Boom's Storyboard artist. We haven't done any modeling for real time 3D - all Maya stuff.

Love to hear what you're up to!
