Sure. Our goal with TechHui is to provide a forum for technology professionals to discuss whatever they like. The admins on this site are only here to facilitate, ensure spammers aren't mucking things up, posts are on topic, etc.

So, speaking as a programmer and not a site admin, I would say your idea of mapping Java alternatives to the MS solution stack is interesting. I think it would be hard to get a consensus because Java folks tend to like options at every level, but it would certainly be a useful reference.
