I read your post in the Mobile Developer's group asking for advice regarding Android game development. If you're interested in building a game for Android you might want to take a look Jesse Freeman's Frogger game that uses Flash and Flixel to create an Air app that deploys to Android devices. These videos should give you a better understanding of the process. Plus, if your game becomes popular, you can easily create a version for PC, Mac, and Linux and sell it as a stand alone product or give it away for free on Facebook :)
My advice would be to stick with Flash and Flixel to make games for multiple platforms. Flixel makes it extremely easy to make video games and Flash takes care of distribution -- just check out the sample games on the Flixel homepage for inspiration. Canabalt was built with Flixel and it's extremely popular.
Hope that helps,
David
