VistA Community Meeting March 20-22

With the transition of the administration and the 2 factor authentication deadline inside the VA, we are probably not going to have many VA folks give us updates as much as we would like them. IHS is stuck betwixt and between as well. Sadly, even eHMP may be closed off from providing an

What I sent to congressional staff members yesterday

This is probably why Christopher contacted me. I sent this out to about 100 congressional staff members yesterday. The attachment was a slightly updated version of what you have seen before... http://opensourcevista.net/NancysVistAServer/ WhyTheVAShouldKeepVistAPlusCommentOnTheCommissionOnCar

From POLITICO about those "great" EHRs to replace VistA

AHIMA MEET UP

Just curious to find out if anyone will be attending AHIMA in Salt Lake City Utah next month. Would be interested in putting together a meet up if there will be any Tech Hui folks represented.

Additionally, I'm putting together a special dinner with John Nelson. Dr. Nelson is a former President of the AMA, and is currently the Chief Medical Officer with the Leavitt Partners. The Leavitt Partners, being former Secretary of HHS, Mike Leavitt's group.

If you're going to be attending AHIMA, let me know.
