An Introduction to Process Modeling
Presented by Kevin Brennan, Vice President Professional Development
Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
Process modelling and process analysis are in-demand skills for business analysts. This webinar will cover the basics of modeling with OMG's Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
You will learn:
• How to develop a model
• How to identify and incorporate subprocesses into your model
• How to model decisions or alternate paths through a process flow
This webinar is for IIBA® members. You will need your membership login information to register for this event. If you have forgotten your login information, click "Help" on the IIBA website and follow the directions under "How to access your IIBA login and password."
Thanks for the info Jim!

I will be attending UH's Process Mapping, Modeling, and Analysis seminar on 11/12 and 11/13.

Does anyone know of other local offerings for process mapping or business requirements?

The UH session on Business Process Mapping, Modeling, and Analysis was excellent! I would highly recommend to all who are interested in process analysis that will help identify opportunities for improvement or redesign. There were a number of case studies where we had the opportunity to "try out the tools and techniques" ourselves. Orion Development Group facilitated the 2-day session and it is normally offered once a year. If there is enough interest, UH may be able to pull another session together!
