Event Description

The first Hawaii iPhone Developers Meetup

Presentation by Bruce Kim, CEO of UserLink:

85,000 apps and only the top 100 make money. How do you rise above the crowd? How do engage your user and make sure they'll come back for your next app? Come see the public unveiling of UserLink, a new service to help you survive and succeed in the app jungle.

After the main presentation others will have 5-10 minutes to present their apps.

If you are interested in presenting please contact us.

Sounds great. I'll begin working on my 10 minute presentation this week.

Hi David - A 10 minute PowerPoint would be great. We will bring a projector.

We are also looking forward to Bruce's iPhone inspired interpretive dance performance.

Dan, thanks for the clarification. I'm looking forward to the interpretive dance :) I'd be very interested in sharing the development story behind my educational iphone game Mathogen ( Will we be able to use powerpoint to deliver the 10 minute presentation or should I prepare an informal talk? Please advise.

At the meetup, I'd like to meet with other iphone developers that are interested in pair programming on the weekends to create new iphone applications/games. Please email me if you're interested. Or come and find me at the meetup. I'm looking forward to it!

Aloha David - The format is a main presentation followed by 10 minute slots for people to present their apps, either deployed or under development. I believe Bruce will also be entertaining us with some iPhone related interpretive dance...

What can we expect to learn at the meetup? Will there be panelists or are we sharing our projects informally? I'm really excited about this one :)
