This workshop takes you beyond the basic installation of WordPress, and explores how to customize the popular publishing platform. Discussion includes how to set-up your permalink structure, define navigation/menu items and other common options. Learn how to organize your content using categories, how to moderate comments and how to set a custom front page. Walk through the customization options for themes in the newest version of WordPress.
Darrell Kim is a systems analyst at Kamehameha Schools with more than 10 years of information technology experience. He has designed and developed software applications, conducted training sessions for various systems, and facilitated technology workshops. He brings to the classroom an expertise in web development, SQL, database design, and systems design and analysis.
