Event Description

In keeping with our continuing support of the UH Information Technology Management Association (ITMA) student chapter, we will be holding an informal Networking Mixer / Pau Hana on September 30th from 5-7pm at Gordon Biersch. The event is free and soft drinks & pupu’s will be provided courtesy of HICTA.

Please mark your calendar and we hope to see you there as we continue to reach out and build relationships with students planning a career in IT.

The University of Hawai‘i is proud to partner with AT&T for the AT&T Mobile App Hackathon Contest November 8-9 at the Blaisdell Center! This event is open to the public and is designed for anyone to build mobile apps that run on either Android or iOS devices. You will get fed, compete for prizes across different categories and most importantly: meet new people and scout for teammates to work on new or current projects. If you don't have a team, don't worry! You can join a team at the event. This is a great opportunity for computer programmers, graphic designers, and business developers to work together and build a unique mobile app!  We are also looking for a few expert mobile app developers to act as sensei during the event to help participants with problems.  If you are willing to volunteer as a sensei, please contact David Chin, chin@hawaii.edu.  For more information and registration, please see http://www.hawaii.edu/its/hackathon.
