All over the world, organizations are using GIS to manage the environment, work more efficiently, provide better customer service, and save money. GIS is becoming an integral part of many organizations technology infrastructure. In this course, you will use both web-based materials and in-class exercises to learn the fundamental concepts of GIS and the major functionality contained in ArcGIS software from ESRI.
To make best use of class time, it is recommended that you complete assigned online exercises before coming to class. Class time will be spent reviewing the online materials and applying newly learned skills to Hawai‘i data and projects. As you progress through the course, you’ll acquire practical skills that you can apply immediately. Price of training is $495 per person.
