Introducing Nexus One, the new Android phone from Google. Explore apps, see tech specs, take a 3D tour and buy the phone at: http://www.google.com/phone
I like that movie too, but don't think we have to recreate such a dark alternative as portrayed in the movie.., as there are surely other possibilities. I really did not like how Tyrell Corp. was experimenting on robots, giving them fake memories, etc.. Hoping that Google has more cheerful plans for its future Nexus models :) so we all do not have to live through human vs. robot scenario..

After watching 'Blade Runner', arguable the movie that 'started' it all, for the Nth time, I could not help but notice the similarity between movie's Nexus Six humanoid robot models and Google's Nexus One android phone.. Is this simply a coincidence, or a sign of things to come, as Google keeps releasing it's mobile Nexus models in combination with other technologies?.. :)
This is probably one of the first Google phones that is starting to look somewhat appealing to a savvy tech person such as myself. Phones before this one were either too clunky, too serious, or too 'socially oriented'.. Nexus One seems like a good marriage of portability, slickness, simplicity and power. I'd like to see this model evolve into something even more interesting..
I would also like to see a simplified version of pay plans along with cheaper devices.. as, I think, carriers currently provide insufficient, rigid, and/or overpriced options..
