Laurens Laudowicz heads up the local chapter of Green Drinks. They meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. You might want to attend one of these events to check out the local scene.

I have an interest in bringing solar energy to a broad range of technologies in the home. However, the means for research and development are rather slim at this time. My interest is not necessarily because it's "green", but rather an interest in enabling individuals to sever themselves from the energy umbilical somewhat.
