Just borrowed Christopher Alexander's"The Timeless Way of Building"from the library. Flipped through the book on the walk back to work. It looks great. I like the author's suggestions on the best method to read the book: read all the headlines. I'm excited about giving a presentation at the iphone meetup on the 29th.

Almost finished with this superb book. I find myself thinking about "the quality that cannot be named" while I'm programming. I like the overall message of this book: design in your mind and add functionality incrementally (always with purpose). I'd highly recommend this book to all programmers. Next book I'm reading is "Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid" by Douglas R. Hofstadter. I've heard great things about it.
