Aloha Daniel and Calin, thanks for the support! We will have an update for you very very soon. We're having so much fun with this project and learning so much, can't wait to bring it to the workforce after we graduate.

The ICS team is taking a few weeks off but we are going to resume development soon.  We have a web interface, an Android interface, and Kevin Leong just added an iPhone interface.  Check out our wiki http://code.google.com/p/solar-decathlon-teamhawaii/w/list for more details.  Follow the instructions below to see our simulator+website in action.

 

 

1.  Download http://solar-decathlon-teamhawaii.googlecode.com/files/systemh-fron...

2.  Download http://solar-decathlon-teamhawaii.googlecode.com/files/systemh-hous...

3.  Unzip both folders.

4.  Open up a command prompt/terminal.

5.  Change directory to the "systemh-housesim-3.0.504" folder.

6.  Type in "java -jar systemh-housesim.jar -stepinterval 10"

7.  If it prompts you for a yes/no answer, just type "y" and hit enter.

8.  Open up another command prompt/terminal.

9.  Change directory to the "systemh-frontend-2.0.504" folder.

10.  Type in "java -jar systemh-frontend.jar"

11.  In your browser, go to "localhost:7070"

12.  To stop the web application, hit Ctrl-C in each command prompt/terminal.
