I think it's funny that the image on the SBIR / STTR forum is of the one observatory that has received the fewest taxpayer dollars. To my knowledge Keck has never received SBIR funding. Maybe a pic of Oceanit or NELHA or something might be more appropriate. Keck is mostly privately funded through WM Keck Foundation and Caltech. UC and NASA throw some money in, but not taxpayer supported to the extent of Every Other Telescope on Mauna Kea.
