Just saw this great quote in Wired:

You can’t say Google is resting on its globe-encircling laurels. Recently the massive search company created Google Wave, an innovative collaboration tool that brings people together so they can work to figure out what Google Wave is good for.

This is pretty funny :) I agree, as somehow we are used to expecting an instant gratification, hence all the initial 'hype' around the Wave. And now, once the smoke is clearing up, evolution takes over.. There is a quote from Jurassic Park that later became one of my favorites, goes: 'Life will find a way.. ' :), which I somehow find somewhat applicable in similar situations..
