Welcome to the TechHui community with a geospatial focus! Currently we're very small but hope to grow and in time provide a launching pad for those foraying out into the world of GIS - be it professionally, or just someone who wants to embed a map - or perhaps somewhere in between.

Hello all... I just joined the group. My area is GIS and Maps at the library; I am very interested in information architecture and GIS enabling paper objects that have a geospatial component; also very interested in open source technologies and software.

Aloha,
I have two Trimble units (GeoXH and GeoXT). I was wondering if there is any way other than Trimbles software that can download the files to my desktop?

yep. we have a monthly meeting at the university as well as downtown for the Flash/Flex user community.
This month, In Visual Form, will not be meeting since I will be at the HCPO/HIGICC conference, 24th and 25th, with Hi-Tech Urban Solutions. We will have a booth setup, so come by.
