Welcome to the TechHui community with a geospatial focus! Currently we're very small but hope to grow and in time provide a launching pad for those foraying out into the world of GIS - be it professionally, or just someone who wants to embed a map - or perhaps somewhere in between.

I've begun to gather some resources in the forum below, but if you have any specific questions or resources you'd like addressed feel free to post or contact me.

Comment by Brian Russo on November 5, 2009 at 7:58pm: Not sure, doesn't the basic software come free with the units anyway? There probably are a variety of free tools out there if you just want to dump it; not sure if they'd work well if you are going to post-process the data though.

I have two Trimble units (GeoXH and GeoXT). I was wondering if there is any way other than Trimbles software that can download the files to my desktop?

This month, In Visual Form, will not be meeting since I will be at the HCPO/HIGICC conference, 24th and 25th, with Hi-Tech Urban Solutions. We will have a booth setup, so come by.
