Does this mean it might be a good idea in some areas of government, but a really good idea for the DOE?

I hope this idea leaks out not only to the State of Hawaii DOE but to the students themselves. They can then learn what is being done, what could be done, and pros and cons of each side. If these ideas have merit, who better to serve as advocates to…

I'm not sure Hawaii needs another bureaucrat... But I absolutely agree that the State of Hawaii could save a lot of money (our tax payer money) by using Google Apps and other open source alternatives. Where this would be especially effective would…

Oh, man, the feeling is mutual. Seriously, I wish I kept mine, but I have this bad habit of tossing or selling all my old things. I graduated to a Commodore 64 later on, but I ended up selling that as well. Too bad. I heard from a co-worker at Ericsson (Sweden) that in some network centers, they still use the Commodore 64 for certain tasks (I assume very small, non-vital, non-mission-critical ones).

Thanks for walk down memory lane!
