Bijin-Tokei | Hot Girl Clock
Here is a brilliant idea from Japan that quickly generated a lot of attention in Japan recently.
It's called Bijin-Tokei, or Hot Girl Clock. When you visit the site, a hot girl tells you the current time. The site updates every minute and so far every time I check the time, the girls have been pretty hot. Now I find myself checking the time more often :)
The site is also a great place to go if you want to check the current time in Tokyo. They also have a blog widget in case you want to display it in your site.
Someone needs to come out with a US version of this service.

I think they could improve this by incorporating the girls into the clock (use their arms as the hands) and providing an embeddable bijin tokei widget. -

A very pretty concept... I understand the stats, but um, why blood type? Themes of vampires and unexpected organ donation come to mind. Can someone clue me in?

In Japan it's very common for people to ask you your blood type because it's believed that if you are a certain blood type, you have a certain personality.
I'm type A which is commonly associated with detail oriented people. AB is know as people with two sides, O is known as laid back e.t.c.
