Japan's Google Streetview Reaction

Last couple weeks, I've seen lots of discussions about google streetview in Japan. Obviously, people in Japan have concerns about streeview privacy and google's privacy policies . The google streetview car has been named グーグルストカー(as in stalker) and it appears some think that google took it too far. People seem to be enjoying google streetview but at the same time, I think that Japanese people generally want to be left alone.

I thought this survey and article really summed it up. 58% of people think that google has broken the law, some 70% think google is violating privacy rights.
