I think mobile sites will keep growing in Japan for the years to come.
Also, I don't know if anyone else is weird enough to be developing Japanese cell phone web apps in Hawaii like me but a new keitai simulator firefox addon just came out today (yeah!). Seems kind of buggy so far but I'm hoping it will be useful.
