Rod, I'm hoping we'll get enough interest to make the Robotics meetup a regular thing.

I'd like to see more Hawaii Island tech, science, and "STEM" business events listed on TechHui. I'll ask Daniel Leuck if he has some type of import to load batches of events.  Right now, I'm just listing "featured" events and highlights here.

Thanks for the cross listing of the West Hawaii Tech pau hana, Don.  I'd like to attend the robotics meetup, but unfortunately will be off island until the next day.

The HITX August calendar of events is up at http://hitx.co/events/

This month we have: Founder 1-on-1s, a Game Developer meetup, Web Design/Developer meetup, and a new Commercial Robotics Tech/Business meetup. If you're on the Big Island and into Tech or Startups, check it out.

Hey all -- the July calendar of events is up at http://hitx.co/events/

We've got a lot of tech related events going on in Hilo at The Exchange this month: Startup Mentoring, a Writer's Group, a Web Development Meetup and our regular Game Developer's Meetup.  Hope to see you all at one of the events.

Hilo area Game Developers: There's a meet up Thursday Night at The Hawaii Tech Exchange.

We want to organize a Hawaii Island chapter of the International Game Developer Association. Meet other game developers, share experiences and expertise. This is a pretty informal group and all levels of experience are welcome.

Will do.

Rod - We're actively looking for companies that would like to pitch.  The winning company will get flown to Maui to pitch at the big Mai-Tai/Maui Tech Night event to the investors there as well.

The Demo event is open to any Hawaii startup.  If you know anyone interested, have them write to demo@hitx.co and I'll take it from there.

@Don, that sounds like a nice event you have put together.  Are all the showcased companies set, or can others get in?

There's a big tech / startup event going on in Hilo May 10th.  It's the first Hawaii Island "Demo Day", a showcase of new innovative local companies.  Read about it at http://hitx.co/DemoDay/

Aloha from Waimea. If you're developing a website or know someone who is, I put together a 52-page resource that explains all the 'must haves' a website needs for generating traffic, leads and sales: http://bit.ly/1fSFprq
