Please note: the Tech Monday in West Hawaii date has been changed. We hope to see you on Nov. 4th (see the calendar listing).
How can we live off the resources available to us in outer space? How can lessons learned here on Earth and in Hawaii help us prepare for space exploration?
Rob Kelso of PISCES speaking on projects to answer these questions at the pau hana at NELHA on Monday the 30th at 5, see the event calendar.
Other than the calendar events here on TechHui and the direct emails I send, no. I'm hoping to get a little biographical information from the presenter today and to update the calendar entry with it and more detail about the talk.
It has been a mostly one-man effort so far, so I haven't had time to create and maintain a dedicated page. Volunteers welcome!
Rod, thanks for the invitation to the monthly pau hanas - I'm looking forward to attending. Is there a page/link for more information on the event?
Thanks!
- Roger
Does anyone have an opinion on OpenROV? http://openrov.com/ I have a friend with a 3D printer and he's considering trying one out as a project.
Excellent, looking forward to meeting you.
Rod, I'll be there. I live on the East-side (Hilo), so I haven't met as many folks on the West side as I would like to. Looking forward to it.
Thanks, Daniel. I have heard of Nalukai, but have not yet met Don. I'll see if he would like to attend and maybe present at the pau hana soon.
Hey Ron - You may want to mention the new Big Island-based innovation startup accelerator Nalukai during your meetup. One of the founding partners, Don Kosak, is a TechHui member who lives on your side of the island. John and Don have been discussing Nalukai in this blog post.
