Event Description

Objective of the Showcase is to encourage research partnerships, technology licensing, business spin-offs, and
research and commercialization support for innovative UH projects.
- SAUVIM, the Semi-Autonomous Underwater Vehicle for Intervention Missions: fully autonomous navigation and manipulation efforts in the ocean environment.
Presenter: Song Choi, Assistant Dean, College of Engineering
- A 3D wind sensor: a low cost alternative to determining velocity and direction in a 3D vector for the study of architectural wind. These sensors provide high spacial and temporal resolution, allowing for the development of wind energy density predictive models.

- Architectural Design Studio: a beta version of the BlueMars Developer program by Avatar Reality Inc. for use in translating
architecture into a virtual world.
