This month, Greg Barbour, Executive Director of the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority (NELHA), will give an update on the facility's new master plan. The plan includes increased support for renewable energy research and a new branding effort for the Hawaii Ocean Science and Technology (HOST) park. He will also talk about the results from the recent economic impact study completed by the University of Hawaii Economic Research Organization (UHERO), the latest on the new OTEC project as well as an update on new exhibits being planned for the Hawaii Gateway Energy Center (some of which are only a few weeks away from being a reality)!
