HVCA Entrepreneur of the Year Award Ceremony November 17,2011

Join Hawaii’s Chief Executive Officer, the Honorable Governor Neil Abercrombie at this annual Hawaii Venture Capital Association celebration on November 17, 2011. This Plaza Club luncheon will honor several Hawaii entrepreneurs who are true local heroes. People who have taken the entrepreneurial plunge and created businesses, jobs and opportunity in Hawaii. Every year we like to acknowledge those among us who break the mold, find solutions to big problems and build businesses to address the needs of the marketplace. You will also have the chance to hear Governor Abercrombie discuss his vision for Hawaii and how he is working to support entrepreneurship and innovation as part of his New Day plan. Categories for the award include Biotech, Dual Use, Invention, Impact and Clean Tech. The event will be held on a special date, November 17, 2011. Aloha attire is kindly requested by the Plaza Club. Parking is not validated, so we suggest parking at Harbor Court entrance on Bethel Street. Luncheon fee is $29 for members and TechHui members, $20 for students and $39 for non-members.
