Event Description

We're excited to have Randy Williams flying in from Singapore to present on the SharePoint development platform. This will be a joint .NET UG and SharePoint UG meeting. That's right, more geeks than you can shake a stick at.

All developers are encouraged to attend in order to be ready for that fateful day when your boss turns to you and asks you to develop a SharePoint application.

DESCRIPTION: SharePoint is both a powerful product delivering out-of-the-box capabilities and a development platform, an evolved form of .NET. In this session, we look at SharePoint architecture and examine the tools that are available for building powerful applications on top of SharePoint 2010. Expect it to see a whirlwind of technology spanning necessary theory, practical guidance, and quite a few demonstrations.
