The Hawai'i Entrepreneur Investor Pitch Competition

Dear Entrepreneurs,

You are invited to participate in The Hawaii Entrepreneur Investor Pitch Competition. Starting mid-October, business coaches will provide one-on-one assistance to entrepreneurs to help them develop concise, articulate and compelling oral presentations of their business plans. As an incentive to participate in the training, companies that successfully complete the training will be given the opportunity to deliver short “elevator” pitches and/or full business plan presentations on November 19 to a panel of bankers, investors and other financial leaders. The top rated presentations in three categories will be awarded cash prizes totaling $4,500.

The schedule is as follows:

October 10 – Deadline for submission of Executive Summaries
October 22 – Pitch Workshop & One-on-one coaches assigned
November 12 – Complete coaching by this date
November 19 – Competition for top “pitchers” in each of 3 categories:
- 3 minute Business Elevator Pitch
- 3 minute Venture Capital Elevator Pitch
- 20 minute Full Venture Capital Presentation

The actual application and more information on where to apply will be sent out in the next few weeks! So, keep the above dates in mind and start working on or updating your executive summaries.
