Event Description

From project management to customer invoicing, small business owners have a lot on their plates.  Larger businesses can employ teams of people to address these non-revenue-generating activities.  How does a small company compete?  How do you reduce your workload so you can focus on the work you enjoy?

Explore the concept of cloud computing and its relevance to small businesses.  Learn about cloud services that can augment or replace various business systems used by small firms.  These services can help businesses reduce costs, improve productivity and increase customer satisfaction, leading to greater profitability.  Review a number of cloud services in the context of small business management and the functions that can help keep your operations running efficiently.

Kepano Kekuewa built a career helping organizations of all sizes leverage the power of technology. After years at Sun Microsystems, Oracle and Apple, Kepano established a boutique consulting practice, Kūlia LLC, to help organizations better engage with clients through new media, social networking and mobile technology.  Most recently, Kepano managed Appleʻs higher education market in Hawaii where he developed a passion for digital media and its impact on learning.
