Asian Marketing & Technology Firm looking for Web Developer / Programmer - direct hires only

Duties:
• Build web-based applications and websites using technologies that conform to company standards
• Perform maintenance and updates to existing software products and websites
• Work closely with project managers and other members of the development team to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timeline, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Produce project estimates during sales process, including expertise required, total number of people required, total number of development hours required, etc.
• Attend client meetings during the sales process and during development
• Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes/templates
• Determine appropriate architecture and other technical solutions and make relevant recommendations to clients
• Communicate to the project managers with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays
• Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients
• Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities

Skills & Requirements
• 3+ years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML and CSS
• 3+ years web-based application development in a C# / .NET environment
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / AJAX / jQuery or similar technologies
• Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008, TSQL, LINQ, ADO.NET
• Knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework
• Experience with Visual Studio 2010, C#, ASP.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services
• Experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA)
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging web application performance
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software as necessary
• Ability to work in a multi-cultured environment
