Yea, this is pretty cool.. but I would add one more thing to the idea. Forget coins or 'timed parking', just have parking sensor wirelessly identify your vehicle information and send you a bill for the time parked - or just charge your credit card :) Somewhat similar to how EZ-pass works in NYC.
