Hi Truman, I haven't seen those movies but definitely cool stuff. Did you see the coffee cup interface example that went around on the net?

As for being implemented on the web browser, it might not be that far off. AS3 and Flash Player 10 has some nice 3d capabilities and with the pngencoder library, even an individual like myself could create a 3d drawing program and create a drawing community.

Hatena (sort of google in Japan) in their labs created a 3d sketch environment/community. It's pretty hard to use though. Check it out.

This is incredible, Scott. I watched the new James Bond movie on Friday night. My favorite part of the movie was in the MI6 office when they were using their touch screen monitors. Movies such as that one, Iron Man and Minority Report increasing show cutting edge computer systems which use touch gestures to interact with the computer. When will this come to the web browser?
