Need help coding for interactive immersive art installation: The Color Box, Kinect, Mac

I've been producing an art installation the last couple of years that used the Wii remote to make a room with four projectors interactive.

I've had the XBox Kinect remote now for a month and am having a heck of a time getting it to become the dream interactive tool for the color box. 

Les helped me get the basics working- glview

...but there is so much more to do.

I'm on a macbook pro using xcode and every build i try to make comes up with errors.
