The Nov 8 seminar will be presented by Martin Hsia, Intellectual Property & Patent Attorney with Cades Schutte LLP, covering timely and effective registration of copyright for media, software & digital works, giving notice of copyright; policing infringements, counterfeits and takedowns, digital rights management and other Internet copyright protection tools, shrink-wrap licensing, civil and criminal enforcement, and U.S. Customs and International Trade Commission exclusion orders.
The 2012 Intellectual Property Management course is offered by KCC Continuing Ed and IPTL Section of HSBA in a series of Thursday evening sessions. It is designed especially for innovation companies and entrepreneurs and practitioners who advise them to gain practical and in-depth knowledge on protecting, managing, and optimizing use of their IP assets in the U.S. and globally. The fee is $35 per session.
