Google News Timeline

This web application allows users to view news and other data sources on a browsable, graphical timeline. Available data sources include recent and historical news, scanned newspapers and magazines, blog posts, sports scores, and information about various types of media, like music albums, books and movies. See what the world is searching for. Google Trends allows you to enter up to five topics and see how often they've been searched on Google over time. Learn how frequently your topics have appeared in Google News stories, and in which geographic regions people have searched for them most. Where in the world is your product or service most popular? Wondering what the new trends are? Use the Hot Searches or Hot Topics and see a snapshot of what's on the public's collective mind by viewing the fastest-rising searches or what is getting the most "buzz". Google Squared

This search search tool helps you quickly build a collection of facts from the Web, for any topic you specify. Facts about your topic are organized into a table of items and attributes; called "squares".
Use drop lists to customize these Squares to see just the items and attributes you're interested in. See the websites that served as sources for the information in your Square. Save and share Squares with others. Great for reports. Sample table on "beatles songs".

Google Insights For Search

Using a basic key words search, Google will analyze a portion of worldwide Google web searches from all Google domains to compute how many searches have been done for the terms you've entered. You can choose to see data for select Google properties, including Web search, Images, Product search, and News search. On the results page, you'll see a graph; a breakdown of how the categories are classified; lists of the top searches and top rising searches; and a world heat map graphically displaying the search volume index with defined regions, cities, and metros.

Google Fast Flip

This web application lets users discover and share news articles. It combines qualities of print and the Web, with the ability to "flip" through pages online as quickly as flipping through a magazine. It also enables users to follow friends and topics, discover new content and create their own custom magazines around searches.
