About Me:

My journey with computer science began with joining my JROTC's Cyber Patriot team. Once a member, we participated in the Cyber Patriot competition put on by the U.S. Air Force that focuses on system hardening and vulnerability detection and correction. I participated for three years and graduated as the team captain. Additionally, I also took an AP Computer Science class which introduced me to programming in Java. From my experiences in high school I decided that wanted to purse a career in computer science. I am now studying at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in pursuit of an education, experiences, and network connections that will enable me to achieve a life-long and fulfilling career in computer science. To aide me in that effort, I have also found employment at my campus' Career Center where I work as a computer specialist. While my schooling is fueling my formal education, my current job position offers practical work experiences as I solve problems in a business environment, and LinkedIn and CyberHui are places that will assist with my final goal of networking.
