A toaster is wonderful technology, but only if your goal is burnt bread. Likewise, computer technology can be powerful, but only when it solves business problems.

Ideally, technology unburdens people from the repetitive and the mundane - allowing the most powerful computers in the world (you and I) to focus on life's truly difficult challenges.

Technology has the yet to be fully realized potential of liberating the human spirit. I remain optimistic we can reach this goal and revel daily in the effort to make it happen.
