Kelly Mitchell is a 12 time local and national award-winning realtor with Prudential Locations and Kelly Mitchell Inc. Named in 2009’s Top 25 of Proxio’s Most Connected Writers/Bloggers in Real Estate at the National Inman Conference in San Francisco. She draws from 30 years of local Hawaii expertise and over 20 years of strategic marketing, business development and digital media. Raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Orange County, California, she relocated to Hawaii in 1979. As a Honolulu resident for 30 years, she has extensive knowledge of the Hawaii market. Kelly is a certified EcoBroker, a member of the Honolulu Board of Realtors (HBR), the Hawaii Association of Realtors (HAR), the National Association of Realtors (NAR) the Hawaii Kai Chamber of Commerce. She serves as Chapter President - Living Green Chapter of BNI in Hawaii Kai, and Director of the Social Media Club of Hawaii. Her background also includes successfully launching two startup companies, achieving profitability and sales of over $2 million within 18 months. As COO/Partner of Six D Studios, she managed Business Development and Strategic Growth & Alliances. She led Six D's first commercial eCommerce success, HiloHattie.com, which allowed this client to increase on-line sales 15-fold in 6 months. She is credited with developing Six D's media production business while creating a strong brand identity. Her digital marketing expertise was instrumental in the success of American Savings Bank's web site strategy and on-line branding campaign, resulting in a long-term, technology partnership.
Acting as an ongoing consultant for company partners including, American Savings Bank, Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo, Ingersoll-Rand, Oceanic Time Warner, Diamond Head Theatre, Hawaii Public Television and Honolulu Academy of the Arts gave these companies a leading edge in the national market and on the Internet. Ms. Mitchell was solely responsible for securing the commercialization technology agreement with NASA resulting in development of a commercially viable product using NASA's DC-Tune, a digital compression algorithm.
As a real estate consultant with Prudential Locations and her company, The Kelly Mitchell Group, Ms. Mitchell draws from over 30+ years of local Hawaii expertise and knowledge. Additionally, her experience in strategic marketing, business development and digital media expertise has translated into a significant value for her Prudential Locations clientele.
She holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Chaminade University of Honolulu, served as an adjunct Professor in Communications and Entrepreneurship, and is on the Board of Advisors to the Hogan Entrepreneurial Program. She also serves on the board for the Prudential Foundation, a non-profit focused on making a difference in our local community and donates 1% of her gross income to the community.
