Hi
We are PV installers in Hawaii. Do you do Power Purchase Agreements? Are your funding sources firm - meaning can we make offer to customers and proceed with the project without waiting unduly for finance tie up. Do you have Hawaii tax equity investors in your PPA model so that the PPA rate is competitive?
Please reply as I have many proposal pending (about 500 KW) where funding for PPA is the bottleneck.
Aloha
Charles
Interesting, Kathleen, I hadn't quite heard of that type of technology. I'm sure I'll be speaking with Christopher about it, but I'll be curious to see if you end up thinking it's a good opportunity to explore further. Given your interest in this field, have you checked on the Kolohala Venture Fund - all renewable/cleantech/life sciences start-ups based here in Hawaii?
Are you related to any of the Nemez clan in Southern California, by any chance? I went to high school with a David Nemetz, son of Bev and Jerry...

The FAQ is a good place to learn about the site. You may want to join some of the interest groups such as Tech Investors and Renewable Energy.
We hope you make it back to the islands sometime soon. See you in the groups and forums!
