About Me:

I am a recent graduate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) with a BS in Computer Science. Growing up, my uncle, a Software Engineer, would often visit and tell me stories about how computers worked, and this captivated my imagination at a young age. I became hooked on technology and would tinker with my very first PC (Pentium P54CS @ 166 MHz with 32 MB RAM) becoming familiar with its component parts. This general interest in technology eventually led to an interest in the software that drives the design of everyday things. I first learned programming when I took an introductory Computer Science course using C++ at Hawaii Pacific University. Next, I transferred to UHM where I would also learn Java. In later curriculum, I became familiar with other programming languages such as C, Assembly, Common Lisp, Perl, and Prolog. Other coursework in the ICS department included Data Networks, Information Assurance, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering.
