"@REchung - I was a direct or indirect client of both for almost 10 years. I am happy to share. I agree the best ideas come from that interaction. It came from a different perspective and not being in the "weeds" of the…"
"I was reading though the post and watched the video. Is this similar to HQ Global Workplaces or Regus? (albeit they are the high-end of that industry). They arrange spaces for small business (usually 1 to a handful) with the amenities…"
The Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology announced yesterday that huge rare earth minerals were found in the Pacific, specifically east and west of Hawaii. While that is a bit vague (I have not yet read the full report only the article) that does open an interesting twist. The article states existing technology to process sea floor mud can easily extract the rare earth metals. This is important…See More
"I think there is an aspect here we are missing. I see the benefits to a "certificate" but that "certificate" is only as good as its publication. Would a simpler method be, educating buyers about the need to and how to…"
I am studying for me Security+ certificate (should test next week) and am reading the cryptography chapter. I enjoy reading the news and my education was through the case-study method. Is there anyone willing to discuss the implications of the breech and apply Security+ to the publicly available information as a case study? I have worked in the IT field for almost 10 years and have led development efforts for software that incorporates security models. JasonSee More
"I absolutely empathize as we went through the same growing pains with my firm: both outgrowing the initial core group and finding the next group of quality people.

"@Nizwer I understand that can get frustrating. Under which group did you post here on techhui and not get a response? Did you see the posting yesterday on www.techjobshawaii.org by Scrum-Masters looking for a mobile developer (I…"

I am a business professional that speaks and understands geek and spent the last decade in technology. (I can code when pressed and have been building computers long before tech support was out-sourced.) Twice an entrepreneur, I spent time on a variety of boards developing the Atlanta professional community and assisting non-profits before relocating to Honolulu in 2009. When not discussing new technology I love the outdoors, especially hiking and any sport involving water.
I look forward to helping grow technology here in Hawai'i and give back to the community. A personal project of mine, I am particularly interested in discussing using on-line communities for problem solving
